Breathing Buildings Ltd has developed the e-stack natural ventilation system, an energy-efficient, award-winning solution for schools and universities. We helped generate a requirements specification, matched it against current IP, and designed a new product considering potential patents and Freedom to Operate.
Jarilo's technology uses high pressure at the front of an aerofoil to maintain laminar flow at the rear, reducing stalling at low velocities. We modelled the airflow, won an H2020 award, and identified land-based medium sized wind turbines as the best market opportunity.
Gyenes Innovation enables rapid exchange of recharged batteries for electric vehicles using hot-swappable strings of smaller batteries. We used a risk-based methodology to identify strengths and weaknesses, informing the inventor's technical development and marketing programmes.
